CheckPoint MDZ Series Pumps are specifically developed to handle the most
challenging applications. The pump produces a leakproof, positive-displacement
flow range of 0.010 USG/H (0.038 L/H) - 60 USG/H (227 L/H) and at pressures up
to 1,500 PSIG (103 BARG). The MDZ delivers nearly maintenance-free operation
for your most demanding applications. It will handle the pressure, temperature, friction,
and suspended particle challenges of your worst applications with outstanding
reliability.

HIGH RELIABILITY BALANCED-DIAPHRAGM DESIGN
The CheckPoint MDZ Series pump actuates a single hydraulically-balanced diaphragm. The process
pressure is constantly balanced by hydraulic pressure on its opposing side, so the flexible diaphragms
essentially experience no differential pressure - allowing high discharge pressures without damage.
EXCELLENT METERING CHARACTERISTICS
The diaphragm is hydraulically energized between 2 and 1,750 times per minute, depending on the
model. A unique encapsulated cam-follower design efficiently converts the rotational energy of a motor
to axial energy, which in turn actuates the diaphragm. The result is outstanding reliability, accuracy, and
repeatability.
TOTAL FLOWRATE CONTROL
Flow is controlled via a variable frequency drive (VFD), allowing for precise output control locally or
remotely. No stroke length adjustment is needed.
ABILITY TO HANDLE PARTICULATE
The MDZ pump head can handle extreme operating conditions where no plunger pump could survive.
There are no sliding parts in contact with the chemical. The diaphragm does not contact a strike plate
on the power stroke, so particles slip right by without damage. The internal check valves, featuring low-mass
poppets, are extremely particle-tolerant and durable. There are no seals, just the highly-durable
unstressed diaphragm.
INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH CONSTRUCTION
The pump head is constructed of 316SS, 17-4PH, Nitronic 50, Hastelloy, and/or other chemically-inert
materials throughout, with a range of diaphragm materials. This pump is appropriate for any offshore or
plant conditions.
"PLUG & PLAY" PACKAGES
CheckPoint can skid-mount any MDZ Series pump with an electric direct-drive motor complete with
a variable frequency drive and all necessary components, including flow control valves, back pressure
regulators, gauges, pipework, pulsation control, etceteras.
