MDZ Solar System

This system utilizes external solar panels to charge high performance
batteries, which energize a DC motor mounted to an MDZ pump head
via a reduction gearbox. Flow rate is controlled via a timer.
BENEFITS
- Can be scaled up by increasing number of panels and batteries to
handle larger flow rates and pressures
- Order of magnitude improvement in reliability versus existing
designs
- Field proven reliability
- Highly durable over a wide range of adverse conditions
- Particle-tolerant chemical head
- Leakproof diaphragm technology will last years without rebuilds if properly maintained
SYSTEM COMPONENTS
- 120-Watt PV panel (may be remotely mounted)
- Weatherproof enclosure containing:
- (2) -79AH batteries
- TMPL timer
- Charge controller with DRO
- Pump Assembly

Notes:
- Assumes solar insolation factor of 3.5 and will vary by location
- Assumes a single PV panel. Adding extra panels and batteries will
proportionally increase volume, pressure or both
- Assumes five (5) full days of autonomy (five consecutive days of
adverse light conditions)
- System is not in full production, therefore they are available on a 60
day trial basis only at this time

AIR Solar System

This system utilizes external solar panels to charge high performance
batteries, which energize a DC powered air compressor. A pressure vessel
holds the pressurized air like an "air battery" until needed by a pneumatic
pump. Flow rate is controlled via a speed control valve on the
pneumatic pump.
BENEFITS
- Can be scaled up by increasing number of panels and batteries to
handle larger flow rates and pressures
- Order of magnitude improvement in reliability versus existing
designs
- Field proven reliability of our LPX Pneumatic Injection Pump
- Can be retrofitted to existing Series 1250 Pneumatic Injection Pump installations
- Since pump is intrinsically safe; all electrical components can be
placed remote to hazardous areas. The cost of "explosion proof"
components is eliminated.
- Highly durable over a wide range of adverse conditions
SYSTEM COMPONENTS
- 50 Watt PV panel (may be remotely mounted)
- Weatherproof enclosure containing:
- (1) -90AH gel battery
- Charge controller
- Super duty air compressor (military specification)
- Pump Assembly/Control
- LPX Pneumatic Injection Pump
- RLF45 Regulator/Lubricator/Filter
- 5 USG/150 PSIG rated air storage tank
